Description
Located only one mile south of Lake Tahoe, this beautiful glacial lake reflected an amazing sunset on my visit there one fall afternoon. Silhouettes of the pines around the lake framed this view, and I knew had to paint this serenity when I returned home! I used India Ink for the pines in the foreground and the naturally-occuring complimentary oranges and blues for the scene.
